New Changes Around Pixel Canvas
I wanted to take a moment to address the recent changes I'm sure you've seen with Pixel Canvas. To say 2020 has been challenging is an understatement. Like so many, Pixel Canvas has been met with numerous obstacles this year, Covid-19 especially has pushed our studio to think outside the box and pivot towards new opportunities.
Early this year, I made a detailed roadmap, filled with action items, and milestones to rally the company around. At that time, 2020 looked to be a promising year, we had multiple venues planned, new products to showcase, and exciting updates to present.
In March I had to abandon the entirety of that roadmap.
Difficult as that was for us, there's an old phrase - When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Pixel Canvas is blessed to work with such an amazingly diverse team who answered the call to action. As one door closes, another opens.
One door to speak about specifically is the Event Industry. This year we saw every Expo across the country close their doors. How do you connect to your fans? How do you create exposure? How do you create a safe environment? Pixel Canvas built a product that answers those questions.
Using our extensive Unreal experience and venue expertise, we're able to create a robust, accessible digital platform that fans, clients, and the press can explore. While still retaining an authentic experience that users will enjoy and Brands the proper opportunity to display, announce, and interact with their fans.
This new direction has been exciting and a great opportunity for our team, but what does this mean for our gaming side? Well rest easy, we are still committed to our gaming passion and looking to the future on new exciting gaming projects to start.
Thank you to all the fans who’ve supported us. We will continue to push the envelope and create new exciting experiences for you to enjoy.
